CHEM 407L Physical Chemistry I Laboratory

Three hours of laboratory per week. Pre-requisite: A "C" or better in CHEM 104 or CHEM 205&205L, MATH 141, and PHYS 112, or PHYS 152. Pre-requisite or Co-requisite: CHEM 407. This course is the laboratory part of physical chemistry I (CHEM 407). The labs will provide deep understanding of the concepts introduced in physical chemistry I such as the gas laws, first law, second law, and third law of thermodynamics, internal energy, enthalpy, entropy, Gibbs energy, chemical potential and kinetics.
