Editing and preparation of news for print media. Includes study and laboratory work in newspaper and magazines. Focus is on editing for audiences, evaluation of news, editing principles, photo uses and editing, typography and layout principles, news packaging, and ethical consideration. Pre-Requisite: COMM 207WI and COMM 101
